About Me

Hi I’m Gemma Bournes and I started Bournes Virtual in 2017 after the birth of my son Josh as I wanted to have a better work-life balance with my new family and a new challenge exploring different sectors.  As a busy mum with three crazy dogs I know all about managing priorities, planning and ensuring that all the tasks are completed on time.

I am an experienced legal PA who has worked in professional offices (from busy corporate offices to smaller family run businesses) for over 15 years and am passionate about providing speedy, bespoke, cost-effective admin support.  I also have been looking after my husband’s business admin for years so understand the trials and tribulations of being a business owner.

I love the challenge that working as a VA sets: no day is the same and each new client has different challenges to give them the support they need and I love the creativity that technology allows.  I want to understand each of my customers and their business, forge great working relationships with you and your customers and help take the stress out of running a business.

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE organising (sad I know, but it’s true) and getting things in order.  I love the challenge of a new client who is all out of control with their business and finding a way to create order and get them up to date and stay up to date with their business admin.

When I’m not running around after my son, I love getting outside with my dogs either walking or trying to train them.
